A focussed two-year diploma in the essential Islamic sciences — Fiqh, Aqidah, Hadith and Tafsir — on Tuesday evenings at Masjid Bilal, Leicester. Began October 2025.
The Diploma in Islamic Studies is a focussed 2-year course which provides students with an intermediate level of study in some of the essential Islamic Sciences. Taught by English-speaking scholars, this course is ideal for all those who desire a deeper understanding of Islamic law, Islamic belief, Prophetic sayings and the Qur’an.
The primary aim of the course is to equip students with a contextualised and analytical study of the relevant subjects, with a high emphasis on providing all students with a practical understanding of what they learn. Assessment is by end-of-year tests for each subject.
The course takes place every Tuesday from 7:30pm to 9:30pm at Masjid Bilal, 80 Evington Valley Road, Leicester LE5 5LJ, and began on Tuesday 7th October 2025. Open to brothers and sisters aged 16 and over. Cost: £200 per year payable by direct debit, plus a £50 admin fee.
