The 2024 intake of the Leicester Diploma in Islamic Studies — Fiqh, Aqidah, Hadith and Tafsir over two years of weekly evening classes.
The Diploma in Islamic Studies is a focussed 2-year course which provides students with an intermediate level of study in some of the essential Islamic Sciences. Taught by English-speaking scholars, this course is ideal for all those who desire a deeper understanding of Islamic law, Islamic belief, Prophetic sayings and the Qur’an.
The primary aim of the course is to equip students with a contextualised and analytical study of the relevant subjects, with a high emphasis on providing all students with a practical understanding of what they learn. Assessment is by end-of-year tests for each subject.
The 2024 Leicester intake ran from October 2024.
