Maulana Sultan Mahmood

Maulana Sultan began his studies in 1994 when he enrolled in Hijaz College at the age of 18. He then went on to spend 6 years studying the various sciences of Islam in the Dars e Nizami syllabus  and completed his BA in Islamic Law and Theology in 2000. He was also part of the first class to graduate from Hijaz College. Mawlana Sultan also completed his secular studies through an LLB Law Degree whilst at Hijaz College. Since his graduation, Maulana Sultan continued his studies with various teachers primarily Mufti Abdul Karim Jama’ati and covered texts in Hadith, Tafsir and Arabic amongst others. He has been teaching various subjects such as Arabic, Hadith, Fiqh and Tafsir from as early as 2000 and has travelled internationally to deliver speeches on Islam.
