The Diploma in Islamic Studies is a focussed 2-year course which provides students with an intermediate level of study in some of the essential Islamic Sciences. Taught by English speaking Scholars, this course is ideal for all those who desire a deeper understanding of Islamic Law, Islamic Belief, Prophetic Sayings and the Quran.
The primary aim of the course is to equip students with a contextualised and analytical study of the relevant subjects with a high emphasis of providing all students with a practical understanding of what they learn.
The Course takes place every Tuesday from 7:30pm – 9:30pm at Masjid Bilal, 80 Evington Valley Road, Leicester, LE5 5LJ
The following subjects are covered:
- Islamic Sacred Law (Fiqh)
- Islamic Belief (Aqidah)
- Prophetic Sayings (Hadith)
- Quranic Explanations (Tafsir)
Ages: 16+ brothers and sisters
Duration: 2 years
Assessments: End of year tests for each subject
Cost: £250 per year payable by direct debit. First payment on enrolment with the second half way through the year.
